Before dying it bright red, I bleached it so that it became orange. After, I dyed it bright red. The thing with this color is that it fades away very quickly. And if you want it to be bright red all the time you have to color it every two weeks or so. I usually try to color it once a month. After it fades away my dreads turn into a natural ginger color which I also love:)
